Or plants for music.
Love this work, Mike.
blackdog: Thank you Viktor - good luck with the book!

Just watched a DVD film called Patience(after Sebald) which you would probably enjoy if it is available in the USA.

Yes, I can hear the music - and even the looking tulips are revelling in it - a dreamy atmosphere - half morbid, half innocent -romantic with all the white ... Is this Holly? (I love the name)
blackdog: Ah you have the mood "nailed" as they say ;o) It is Holly, my muse with the pearl earring ;o)

Cows produce more milk when accompanied by music in the background to their lives, or so it is said. Perhaps plants too will give of their best in this situation too - who knows?
blackdog: In the soil perhaps - in a vase of water I doubt it very much ;o)
Apparently hearing music ... good music (whatever that is)whilst in the womb, has plenty of positives.
Not that that has anything specificaly to do with this rather remarkable musical study.
blackdog: As these were cut tulips I doubt if they were too bothered. Thanks Richard.
I will press the likey button for this, if I can find it.
blackdog: Ooo - it is something I forget about. Thank you ;o)
Very good use of differential focus Mike, this has a very nice feel to it.
blackdog: Thanks Brian - always good with natural light.
Very tasteful and elegant composition Mike, very pleasing tones and light!
blackdog: Thank you Fred ;o)
Lovely Mike!
blackdog: Thanks Elizabeth.

Excellent - the flowers seemed to have perked up from the music.
blackdog: A temporary reprieve in that case ;o)
