We take plagiarism very seriously in this house! I think this would look better with red shoes.
blackdog: Indeed we do, but you had walked past this photo oppportunity so I just couldn't resist. As to the red shoes - a little too much colour perhaps given the red L plate!
anniedog, was this copied?
blackdog: I saw the sign on the floor, my feet, my camera, my photo - so no. But my wife does like to photograph her shoes in a similar fashion so a borrowed idea ;o)

Nice concept, whoevers' it is.
blackdog: The concept really belongs to Ingrid, just borrowed it for this chance to show off my new Converse with an L plate that was lying in the street.

LOL at Ingrid, because I was thinking the very same thing! Good to see you again, Mike!!
blackdog: Hi Ginnie - looks like I have blown my low profile with this bit of fun. Couldn't resist it though, especially as she walked past the L plate!

  • 29 Aug 2008, 05:20 just stepped in a wasp-nest, we say in Holland, that means take flowers to alive...I do hope you have a peaceful weekend....I think you are a very brave man....

LOVE the picture though LOL, winkwink I know you will enjoy the weekend, how can it NOT be with so much ...ermm...beginners luck.
blackdog: What a memory you have - these are the new BLACK converse! So had to do them myself ;o) The funny thing was that Ingrid walked past the L plate lying in the street, so I just had to do it.

As a child I did step in a wasp's nest - very unpleasant especially as I was on my own. I got badly stung and very very frightened. Not an experience I want to repeat ;o)
Love it Mikegrin
blackdog: Thanks Bill ;o)
it is tempting taking photos Ingrid style (she is the trend maker!) isn't it Mike? I like it in any case.
blackdog: Certainly the trend maker for this type of shot, but imitation is the greatest flattery you can give ;o)
I think it pathetic that someone stays away for months on end then comes back and bloody copies his wife's ideas. I wonder what else 'L' could stand for apart from learner.
Oh btw you'll never pass the theory test.
I see you splashed out and bought yourself a shiny clean pair of converse.

Yours disgusted. ;-) ;-)
blackdog: Pathetic indeed - is Loser the word you are looking for - that would be me ;o)

But then you give it all away with your jealous fit over my new trainers - Converse rock as they say ;o)
I see you have been in training
blackdog: Very gently ;o)
Still learning how to tie your shoe-laces?

Think of it as a tribute Ingrid.
blackdog: I think we will call it a homage - max appeasement value ;o)

hope you can run fast in those shoes
blackdog: Not fast at all, but faster than Ingrid ;o)
Well - did you pass?
blackdog: Flying colours - well flying anyway ;o)

Oh yes, beginning (we can be in this phase of L-earning in every age) -where-when-however- makes lucky and offen happy! We have in German a nice phrase (by Hermannn Hesse): "Und jedem Anfang wohnt ein Zauber inne"/"there is magic in every new beginning"!
blackdog: Read quite a bit of Hesse - Glass Bead Game probably a favourite and agree with the sentiment. The hard part is actually sticking at something beyond the initial magic - I would much rather keep starting over ;o)
Amazing what a strong thumbnail will

I know you are doing this with an element of fun in mind, but I like it all the same.
blackdog: Mmmm tell me about it, you may well laugh. I think we will go back to nondescript photos of backs.

I liked it too, couldn't resist as Ingrid walked past it ;o)

Lol nice one Mike, nice talking point over supper tonightsmile
blackdog: Anyone would think we are competitive ;o) Ingrid's cooking supper as I type, so I shan't mention it just yet ;o)
Good to see you back, Mike!
blackdog: Thanks mate, glad you are still keeping active ;o)
No way!!, Ingrid is your wife??, I sure haven't been paying attention. Nice shot, but please stop copying her style. wink
blackdog: Way!!! Copy? Me? No way!

blackdog: Yes well there were so many comments, I needed a cooling off period!
