Wild Animals
Minding my own business taking cool architectural shots, the space was suddenly invaded by a group of children - made a better shot than anything I had taken up to then!

Nice use of an unexpected moment. I like the movement the shot implies.
blackdog: Thanks Jewlya - they were certainly moving!
Heck Mike: this is a damn good picture - all those curves and straight lines in the grid. You couldn't have posed those children better if you tried
blackdog: Thanks Chris - they were having a great time chasing round the outer skin of the building.
This looks like a fun exploration of architecture. Very nice shot of the little adventurers.
blackdog: Just gave in and went with the flow - I could tell it was so much fun that they were there for the day!
Don't you just love how serendipity happens!
blackdog: I do indeed Ginnie ;o)
Its a great shot.
blackdog: Thank you ;o)
Indeed a great moment! One of my favourite's from you until now
blackdog: Thanks Mauro - thought you would like it! Mike ;o)
(clever title.)
Great capture, my favourite of the day... and I always like your work with the details of blackness...
blackdog: glad you liked it mate - and favourite on a strong day, I am very flattered. ;o)
Interesting capture!!!
Nice B&W work!
blackdog: Thank you Paulo ;o)
great shot
blackdog: Thanks Chantal ;o)
This is sooo good. Well done!
blackdog: Thank you Lilith ;o)
well captured
blackdog: cheers Dotun, glad you like it
A beautiful work the b&w, an image very well gotten. Congratulations
blackdog: Thanks José glad you liked it. ;o) Mike
almost looks like a baby elephant walk. i love the mystery identity of the animals. nice
blackdog: I felt like I was the baby elephant though - but yes the semi silhouette worked well. All very sterile until the "crew" turned up to play"
Nice one Mike and I love the title!
blackdog: Thanks Bill - they were too, right little tykes. Two other accomplices out of shot ;o)
Fantastic shot. So much to look at. The best shots just happen.
blackdog: Thank you Gail - as Ginnie says Serendipity is a wonderful thing.
But who's in the cage - you or the children? An ambiguous image - I like it.
Ingrid
blackdog: Thank you. It certainly felt like I was in the cage - they were running round the outer skin of the building rattling the mesh and I was cowering inside!
Like the title and pic - I think BW is a very good choice.
blackdog: Thanks Aksel - for B&W is usually the only choice, my colour work is pretty poor.
Yes i agree - great invasion from the children! Composition is wonderful. You were there at the right moment!
blackdog: Thank you - I was cursing at the time but then realised I had something much better - the building will always be there next time!
See this what happens when you become one of those 'top shelf'
SCers like Mal...you have to employ a PA to answer all your comments....start smoking black cheroots...have affectations and some one to load your memory cards, take on an agent..let it start going to your head...sign the image rights over to Boots for their new toiletry range..start drinking under the pressure to constantly please your fan base..find them slowly turn against you when jealousy bites..get yourself booked into the Priory, appear on Parkinson drunk...suddenley realise you're best mates are Ginger Spice and the woman who does the cleaning.....for Gods sake man shoot some crap like the rest of us before its all too late.....I like this ..but could be the first one to turn...XXX
blackdog: Thank you David - have you entered a longest comment competition ;o) ?
Must admit I am already cracking under the strain - the PA sounds good tho' as I am absolutely cr*p at typing and it takes me ages to reply. Still RSI is a small price to pay for such glowing praise - yet the arthritus does mean I won't be able to bop you one when you start commenting behind my back! ;o)
Talk about being at the right place at the right time. Well spotted. Fantastic shot!
blackdog: Thank you Suzanne. It felt like the right place at the wrong time - but I was cute enough to realise I had something much better ;o)
Super shot Mike. It's always nice when something unexpected lifts the moment and shows we are never really in control of anything we do. David.
blackdog: Thanks David - yes it is often the mistakes that create the memorable.
Impressive shot...as usual Mike.
blackdog: Thanks Bridge ;O)
Really cool image - it's great when the unexpected happens to bring along something different, isn't it!!
blackdog: Thank you - I was cursing at the time but then realised I had something much better - the building will always be there next time!
excellent profiles through the grille...
blackdog: Thanks Sam - this is one of my favourites from this year.
