Another restored negative from long ago. I was snooping around the wharf buildings in the Albert Docks in London in the early 1980's and got caught. Long story short I talked my "arresting" officer into having her photo taken, which she duly did and then cautioned me accordingly. I wonder what she is doing now?

The stories you tell, Mike! It looks like it was a pretty nice encounter.
blackdog: Yes, once I explained what I was doing the mood relaxed and I just got a ticking off - for my own safety etc. shouldn't be on premises tsk tsk, verbal warning.
Wonder what happend next..

Love the story! And the old-fashion photo.
blackdog: Thanks Jewlya ;o)
WOW Mike a policewoman in a skirt, you don't see that today. I love the shot.
blackdog: You certainly don't - afterwards I couldn't believe my own cheek!
I didn't know you had a thing for uniforms!
blackdog: LOL - that's because I don't ;o)
I knew you were partial to a woman in uniform, but this is taking it a bit far. Is that where the handcuffs came from?!
Ingrid
blackdog: Wrong on both counts then ;o)
This has your fingerprints all over it Mike. Did she get a mug shot of you in return? DAvid.
blackdog: You have been watching too many Midsommer Murders lol ;o) And to answer your question, no. I just got escorted off the premises and a lecture about for my own safety etc etc.
lol...personally, id like to hear the back story as well..anyway, nice shot...
blackdog: I was in the docks to take photos of the power boat racing. I soon got fed up with that so sloped of into the buildings to get some photos of decaying building on the point of demolition. Five minutes later I was interrupted, given a safety lecture and booted out. Couldn't believe my own cheek asking (and getting) her to pose for a photo!
I am sure she is still chasing around scofflaws like you, but most likely you are the only one who talked her into having her picture taken. I frequently get chased off various properties by security. It does generate interesting conversations from time to time.
blackdog: Can't believe my own cheek! This was definitely my favourite brush with the law!
What was the prison food like in those days? richard.
blackdog: LOL I got off with a lengthy H&S lecture and released along with my camera for good behaviour ;o)
She's a fair cop guv!
blackdog: Indeed Bill ;o)
I'd like the long story...I love her pose...hand on her hip, right foot forward, and a rather flirtatious tip of the head and smile. She is probably someone's grandmother now and would love to have this picture!

She was a good sport, I was so excited I forgot the flash on the first shot and waited for me to "shoot" again. I bet she would love the picture now, although it would probably have got her into trouble at the time!
Great photo and very staged looking (as indeed it was). But are you telling us the whole story or is it just because anniedog is looking in?
blackdog: She was outside with the dog and probably "grassed me up" as she got easily bored waiting in her pre-photography days. Now its me that hangs around for "just one more shot" ;o)
