Interesting capture!!!
What were they looking at???
blackdog: Thx for the comment - actually they didn't look at anything. One turned her head away and they all just turned to see what she was looking at and I caught the moment.
I love this, did something startle them?
blackdog: Thx for the comment - no nothing at all - they would have been off. I had stayed still for about 15mins and they kept creeping forwards out of curiosity. One turned her head away and they all just turned to see what she was looking at and I caught the moment.
Great photo - good detail, lighting, & an excellent humourous angle which just makes you wonder what is just out of the shot and allows every viewer to interpret it their own way - this is what I believe good art is all about. Excellent!
blackdog: Thanks - it really does create a tension stage left judging by the comments. I am very pleased.
Hi Mike. Very nicely done mate, it looks like it could be a still from some kind of TV ad, or rather I should say, that is what it reminds me of; you know the kind of thing. One could imagine a sheep riding past on a superbike or something like that!! Good one. Best wishes, Neil.
blackdog: Hi Neil - yes I suppose it does LOL - just the evil eye from me though. Thanks. Mike
It looks like you almost made them pose for this. Nice one
blackdog: LOL - wish I was that clever!!! Just lots of luck and managing not to shake with excitement.
What an excellent photograph! I love the bleakness achieve by using black and white. So clever to capture them all looking the same way. (:o)
blackdog: Just luck and patience ;0) Most of my work is in B&W - life's too bright for me! Thanks for the nice comment.
Wow, the is an awesome awesome awesome shot.
Welcome to Shutterchance. Suby
blackdog: Thanks - hope I can live up to this in the future! Mike.
perfect B&W! beautiful! what look they?
blackdog: Thx for the comment - actually they didn't look at anything. One turned her head away and they all just turned to see what she was looking at. I love B&W too - cannot think in colour.
Great shot! Welcome to SC.
blackdog: Thanks. Great to be here - seems I have set the bar a bit high for myself on day three! Mike
Really nice capture and is perfect in B&W.
Welcome to Shutterchance - look forward to seeing some more of your work.
blackdog: Thanks. Great to be here - will try and keep up the daily post and hope the standard remains high.
OMG! This is incredible! And it's the perfect addage that sheep are "dumb" and follow the leader!
Welcome to SC!
blackdog: Thanks Ginnie. Its true they all inched forwards together - I was feeling quite intimidated. They have been shorn this week and don't look so scary, just caught them in time. Mike
Welcome aboard! You've started with three cracking photos. Cheers, Dave
blackdog: Thanks great bunch of guys good feedback - downhill from here then ;0) Mike
Welcome to SC! Great picture and perfect comment, makes me smile! I like your choice of B&W tones, perfect match. This picture goes into my Likeys!
blackdog: Thanks Monika - glad it tickled you ;0) - will have to see if I can find a line of "chipmunks" for my next one! LOL Mike
Hah! So they all looked in the same direction .. like sheep
Good capture, I like it.
blackdog: Thanks Ellie. Personally I was glad they chicken'd out - they were getting very close.
Lovely image with good dof and tonal range. Did you use ventriloquism to get them to look the other way in unison or do you just move exceptionally quickly??
blackdog: Hi - yeah I have been on dial up for over a week now - I sympathise. Thanks for the comment, but no ventriloquism - just looked over my camera, gave them the evil eye and they turned, first one then the others. Then crucially I remembered to press the shutter. Mike
Ha! ... I'm was looking to see what they were looking at as well ... Does that make me a sheep?... ;-)richard
