silhouettes playing on silver sands Mike... i can't believe that you were able to capture the patches on the ball... a bit of trickery i suspect grin....petersmile
blackdog: No trickery Peter, just shielded the lens from glare with my hand. One of those days when you cannot go wrong.
excellent silhouettes on the almost mirror finish, further embellished by the glitter.
blackdog: Many thanks Ayush, glad you liked it.
This is so very cool!!! Like an etching!
blackdog: Many thanks Elizabeth ;o)
Absolutely delightful, Mike. WOW.
blackdog: Many thanks Ginnie. I do get it right every now and then.

Blimey what a terrific image. How on earth did you achieve this?
blackdog: By breaking all the rules. Shooting into the sun and shielding the lens from glare with my hand. The sun was causing the evaporation that gives the false horizon.

I love the glittering, sparkling sea in the evening light - I admire your photographical skills!
blackdog: Thank you Philine, My head will swell to the size of Herr Low's is you carry on with compliments like that (apologies for the lack of umlaut, but I have no facility on my tablet)

I like this Mi,e, quite mysterious in a 'walking on water' sort of way. I like the dark sky and the sparkling spots of light.
blackdog: I do water into wine as a party trick too. Well actually it is wine into water, but it will let that pass ;o)

This seas must be 3 inches deep at the horizon. Excellent.
blackdog: It probably was, this is a very very long beach and the tide is coming from the left. The false horizon is the strong sunlight causing evaporation over the shallow water.
Awesome shot of the beach at low tide. Very, very good.
blackdog: Many thanks Mary - I think I took about 50 so relieved a couple worked.
Otherworldly.......superb lighting Mike
blackdog: Breaks all the rules but it worked!
Great light on this, Mike...Super shot.
blackdog: Many thanks Frank, rhossili bay.
This is a cracking picture Mike.
blackdog: Thanks Bill - one of my favourites from that day.
I really do like this Mike, wonderful foreground.
blackdog: Appreciated Brian.
Wonderful shot. Love the sparkles.
blackdog: Thank you very much - but not Cornwall this time ;o)
