I don't know what the hell you've done here Mike but this is wonderful. It's like the memory of an electric fan coming out of the ether to haunt us - perhaps after electricity itself has been abolished
blackdog: If my memory serves me right the fan is in the light of a wall projection. It is taken in an old palazzo in Venice and this was the "air conditioning". No tweaking in photoshop, just as seen.
This looks as though it has been retrieved from the ashes of a fire...started perhaps by a faulty fan?
blackdog: LOL quite possibly Bill, the whole place would probably have fallen under your demolish it edict, instead it is just slowly decaying. I'll save my collection of shots of peeling wallpaper for later ;o)
This is some good picture, I love the way you proccessed it, love the atmosphere, the fan is just a very nice object to capture, nice job here
blackdog: Thanks Astrid - cannot take any credit for processing, its exactly as I took it. Just an amazing place helped make taking interesting photos easy ;o)

I think that you and anniedog are in a heated competition to try and outdo each other in terms of minimal composition, subtlety and reduced tones. btw this is VG
