Pultney Bridge, Bath

The Weir on the Avon again, this time by the water's edge.  When I came to Bath, I had a real sense of deja vu when I found this place and it was only later that I remembered reading a dective novel, whose opening chapter was set in the small café on Poultney Bridge (The first white window on the left).  My favourite city in the UK.

In London until Sunday at the Frieze Art Fair so not able to respond to Comments until then sorry ;o(

The light on the buildings in the background is wonderful! I almost want to suggest cropping off some of the murky building on the left, but this works very well as is.
blackdog: Thanks Martin - yes I see what you mean. I think I framed it like that to get all the pallisade at the bottom in shot.
I wish I could take a picture this good. I'm going to bed now!(I'll put in my likey's first)
blackdog: Thanks Bill - I am sure you can ;o) and thanks for the "likey"

blackdog: Thanks Scarlett - glad you liked it ;o)
Great skyline in this photo - Each roof has such a different style to it.
blackdog: Didn't notice that, they do don't they, and very different at that, yet all make from the same Bath stone.
