This is a truly bizarre but rather compelling image Mike. I have just given it a long hard looking at, and the more I look the more I see
blackdog: Thanks Chris - there is a lighter version on the "other site"

F-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c!
Well, well done, Mike. Z
blackdog: Thank you VZ
This is a great find, even if I can't quite figure out what all the mirrors are doing lined up like this. It is visually appealing and concept of chaos superimposed on order is an interesting reversal of the more common notion.
blackdog: Thanks Martin - it was a sculptural piece from an exhibition called Picture House at Belsay Hall Castle and Gardens near Newcastle in Northumberland. This was outside and involved catching the light to control the movement of the mirrors.
This truly is a puzzle, Mike! WOW! What a creative find.
blackdog: Thanks Ginnie - perfect for those mysterious self portrait shots!
wonderfulyl abstract...
blackdog: Thank you Sam ;o)
I'm playing "where's Wally" with this and I'm up to 7 Mikes! Love it!
blackdog: We had that book too - great fun. will go for the long stripey scarf next time! ;o)
Creative and artistic, difficult to understand and that is good...
blackdog: Thank you Zeb - don't want it too difficult though.... ;o)
Cracking image! As others have said, why were these mirrors all lined up?

great shot!
blackdog: Thank you for your comment
This is brilliant in b/w. The reflected clouds are particularly eye-catching. I have a colour version that is not nearly so good.
Ingrid
blackdog: Thank you Ingrid - I didn't actually take a colour version, so will need to take a sneaky look at yours ;o)
Great effect Mike.
blackdog: Thank you Florence
Very intriguing Mike. Great work.
blackdog: Thanks Bridge ;o)
this is just... wow...
blackdog: Thank you. I think you must be my #1 fan ;o) looking forward to your next brain teaser. Mike
This is wonderful - love it - I put it in my Likeys
blackdog: Wow thanks Aksel - never been to Bergen; Oslo & Stavanger quite a few times tho and I remember loads and loads of snow!
Ditto everyone, really like it.
blackdog: Thanks Nigel ;o)
I have the advantage of knowing where you took this, but it has come out really well and the contrast between the sky reflecting and earth reflecting mirrors is excellent in b&w.
blackdog: Thanks Ian - yes sneaked away for this shot, whilst I should have been administering refreshments to you in the tea room! Good to have you back ;o)
i really like this blackdog
blackdog: Thank you - it's one of my favourites too ;o)
