Well what are weeds anyway? I call them volunteers! I love this photo- makes me feel melancholy for some reason!
blackdog: In that case you have an army of volunteers here - melancholy was my intention, I even had to trespass a little to get the photo ;o)
Think you did some on this a while back .... Dream environment for deriliction photography
blackdog: Just the one, this is from the same day - I am drip feeding them when the going is slow ;o)
Is this Tiff's garden?
blackdog: I think he missed your dig ;o)

Haha -but we are on the melancholy blog:
Fortune and glass soon break, alas!
Glass and good luck, brittle muck.
Glück und Glas wie leicht bricht das.

Victorian greenhouses?
blackdog: We are indeed and I suspect the grand nature suggests Victorian, this is just one of many.

It's such a pity to see this grand horticultural edifice come to this Mike but you have captured its decline with skill
blackdog: Without remnants of terminal decline I would have little subject matter left ;o)
Most glass houses live shortly, I have observed. Very well exposed Mike.
blackdog: Thanks JC, Yes tricky to balance the bright sky with the dark interior.
Fine composition Mike - intrigued to know its location!
blackdog: Edge Hill Warwickshire, but in private grounds - soon to be demolished I suspect. I was warned off!
I am glad you used the plural or I would have been a little concerned Mike. Good light effects.
blackdog: Haha - yes that would be an idea, but on this scale I doubt it could be classed as 'for personal use'.
Makes a very good B.& W.image Mike.
blackdog: Thanks Brian.
